Pre-Conference Courses

15th November 2017, Wednesday

Dr. Rohit Sachdeva, USA

Having treated over 15,000 patients over the past 20 years on an all digital technology platform I have come to realize that the greatest challenge the doctor faces in the care of his patients is his inability to make the right decisions in the planning of patient care. This impacts the prognosis of the treatment outcome and also adds to the burden of cost to both the patient and doctor.

The greatest benefit in the use of digital technologies resides in the appropriate use of the Decision support tools for planning patient care. This, unfortunately, is the least valued and least understood aspect of the digital technology platform.

The purpose of this course is to help the participant develop the unique cognitive, spatial and temporal skills required to make more reliable decisions and plan for better patient care outcomes.

Using a database of 5000 patients and the practice of swarm intelligence in an interactive environment the presenter will create an immersive experience for the participant to learn the intricacies of clinical decision making and care planning.

More specifically the principles of  Discovery-driven care planning developed by the presenter will be discussed. These include:

      A) Simnostics       B) Simpeutics        C) Simtheranostics

      D) Simtracking     E) Simprognostics     F) Root Cause Analysis

This course will benefit both the analog as well as the digitally inclined orthodontist.

Course needs: Participants who are afflicted with the bug of curiosity, who are willing to engage in conversation and challenge the instructor’s viewpoints.
